1. The course used to have 365 bunkers on it - 1 for each day of the year
2. Over 150 different types of tree exist on the course - Byron used to bring cuttings back from his travels around Europe
3. No bombs were dropped on the course - despite members referring to the craters as bomb holes
4. The Conifers on the first were planted only 25 years ago along with the Silver Birch between the 14th and 18th
5. Coulsdon Court had the first buggy in England
