Formed in 1938 Coulsdon Court was established to provide golf for those who wanted to join a club and enjoy the company of fellow golfers.
The course was built in the early 1920's by the Cearn Family and was designed by Harry S Colt. It was leased to Croydon Council in the 1930s on the provision it was always kept as a Public Course.
It is a beautiful parkland course which enjoys spectacular views over central London. The course itself contains a wide variety of tree types and in Autumn gives a magnificent display of colours.
Coulsdon Court Golf Club is a friendly and welcoming club. It enables players to chose from pay as you play to annual membership providing a flexibility unmatched by other local clubs. Every Saturday there is a competition and you get to play with different members each week. The members themselves organise regular trips to other clubs around Europe and Coulsdon enjoys a particularly strong record in Surrey Club competitions, already reaching the finals of the Warren League this year and having won the Hilliard Trophy three times.
